What Tire Sizes Fit 18″ and 19″ Staggered Wheels?
Compartir
Got the wheels sorted? Great — now let's get the tires right, because the wrong size can ruin an otherwise perfect stance.
Because our sets are staggered (wider at the rear), you'll run a different tire size front and rear. Here's a clear starting guide.
Recommended tire sizes
| Wheel | Suggested tire |
|---|---|
| 18×8 (front) | 225/40R18 |
| 18×9 (rear) | 245/40R18 |
| 19×8.5 (front) | 235/35R19 |
| 19×10 (rear) | 275/30R19 |
How to read a tire size
Take 245/40R18: 245 is the tread width in mm, 40 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width (the “aspect ratio”), and 18 is the wheel diameter in inches. Lower aspect ratios look sportier but ride firmer.
Fill vs. stretch
A tire sized to the wheel's width gives a full, rounded look. A slightly narrower tire on a wide wheel creates a “stretched” look popular for flush fitment — it can help clear fenders on lowered cars, but go too far and it hurts grip and ride. Our suggestions above strike a clean, safe balance.
Choosing for your car
- Comfort-focused: stick to the sizes above for a balanced ride.
- Lowered / aggressive: you may want a hair more sidewall or a mild stretch to clear fenders — ask us.
- Always keep your overall rolling diameter close to stock to keep your speedometer accurate.

Frequently asked questions
Do wheels come with tires?
Our sets are wheels only (4 wheels + center caps), so you can fit the exact tire and brand you prefer.
Can I run the same size front and rear?
Our sets are staggered, so front and rear differ. A square setup would need a custom order.
